From a young age, SheaButterMan Shoppe owner Thomas Amoah (known by community members as the “Shea Butter Man”) has been passionate about promoting healing using natural West African products and traditional formulations. In Ghana, Thomas was raised by his grandmother Simpah, a Kumasi village herbalist. For many generations, grandmother Simpah and other healers served the community using shea and palm remedies. Thomas honoured her ancestral wisdom by naming his product line “Simpah Cream.”
Since the 1990’s, the SheaButterMan Shoppe has delivered ethically sourced skincare solutions containing 100% pure shea and palm to countless households worldwide. We are dedicated to providing you with high quality natural products and supporting you with your everyday skincare needs. Our Ingredients
All SheaButterMan Shoppe products contain either 100% pure shea or palm. There are no chemical preservatives or additives. These ingredients are sustainably harvested without mechanization on our family farm located outside Kumasi, Ghana. We employ local farmers who use traditional processes that do not contribute to deforestation or habitat destruction.
